Fin Design Challenge 2017

Use Open Rocket to design fins for a rocket with the following parameters: 

  • Body tube of 2.48cm outer diameter / 2.41cm inner diameter (weight 5.5 grams)
  • Motor tube 2 cm outer/ 1.9 inner diameter
  •  Motor A8-3
  • Length 11.5 - 15.5 inches
  • Parachute 11-15 inch diameter
  • Spill hole (max. 4.25 in in diameter may be removed)
  • 6 shroud lines 8-14 inches Parachute + Shroud lines = 10 grams)
  • Nose Cone - measure & weigh
