The Northern Renaissance (Video and Guide)

Background:

Even though The Renaissance officially started in Italy its cultural movement grew and began to spread to all parts of Europe.  One area where new Renaissance ideas spread was Northern Europe.  The influence of Renaissance ideas in Northern Europe can be seen in the new art techniques that were employed by Northern European artists and new literature that was written by Northern European authors.

Directions:
