Storytelling and the Arts of West Africa (Quiz)

Directions:

West Africa has a rich and colorful artistic traditions.  Griots (or professional storytellers) would keep West African tribes oral histories alive by telling elaborate folk tales.  Musicians and dancers would also help maintain West African culture by creating complex and visually and auditory dance and song spectacles.  

Read the chapter in your textbook entitled Storytelling and the Arts of West Africa (page 166 - 171) to learn more and use the information in the chapter to help you take the open book quiz.  A digital copy of the chapter has been attached to this post.
