Background:

Throughout China's history, its capital city has moved several times.  Each time a new capital was established there were changes that occurred in both its location and priorities for the people living within its borders, but the one thing that remained constant was how each capital reflected and preserved the culture of Chinese history and people.     

Directions:

Watch the video entitled China from Past to Present:  Life in Ancient Capital Cities and use the information contained in the video to complete the video guide and activity worksheet.  A digital copy of the video and activity guide has been attached to this post.
